Water Quality Re-Classification Proposals The Maine Department of Environmental Protection is preparing water quality re-classification proposals for the 129th Legislature in accordance with 38 M.R.S. Sections 464.2., 464.2-A. and 464.3. The Department has compiled documentation containing its initial recommendations on re-classification proposals received in response to a request for proposals issued on August 1, 2017. This documentation is available for public comment until 5:00 PM, June 5, 2018.
