| The deadline to apply for the West Harlem Environmental Action, Inc. (WE ACT), Capacity Building Grant Program is Thursday, April 30, 2020 at 11:59 p.m. EST. WE ACT will award 18 grants to community-based organizations working to achieve environmental justice and sustainability in underserved, low income, and communities of color. Funding in the amount of $50,000 each, for a total of $900,000, will be awarded to eligible groups throughout DEC’s nine regions. These grants will assist with building administrative, technical, and programmatic capacity of grassroots organizations across the state.
