NY Community Greenworks
The New York State Department of State (DOS) has released a Request for Applications (RFA) for the NY Community Greenworks “train-the-trainer” program. Community organizations can apply to receive one week of intensive training from PUSH Buffalo (People United for Sustainable Housing) in sustainable community development, vacant property revitalization, green technologies, community engagement and empowerment and equitable development.
NY Community Greenworks supports Governor Cuomo’s “Health Across All Policies/Age-Friendly NY” Executive Order, which directs state agencies to incorporate the principles of health and age-friendly communities into all relevant programs and policies.
Important dates:
- Q&A deadline – June 28, 2019
- Q&A answers posted – July 10, 2019
- Application due date – July 24, 2019, 4 p.m.
