Waste Management Disposal Services of Maine – Crossroads Landfill Expansion The Department is accepting public comment on an application submitted by Waste Management Disposal Services of Maine for a proposed solid waste landfill expansion (Phase 14 expansion) at the Crossroads Landfill located in Norridgewock, Maine. Written comments to the Department may be submitted to Linda Butler, Project Manager at the Maine Department of Environmental Protection either by e-mail at Linda.J.Butler@maine.gov, or by regular mail at 17 State House Station, Augusta Maine, 04333-0017. The Department will accept written comments from the public during the application review period from now through the close of the record anticipated to be at 5:00 p.m. on October 13, 2020. The Department will hold a public hearing, October 1, 2020 beginning at 1:00 p.m. to receive testimony on the application. See the Public Hearing Notice for more details. |
