Great Fish Count in New York City June 1, 10 a.m. – 6 p.m.

Led by top marine scientists and biologists at 18 sites across New York’s five boroughs, Westchester County, and New Jersey, the Great Fish Count gives attendees of all ages the chance to strap on a pair of waders, cast a net, and discover the underwater world in their own backyard. The Great Fish Count is part of the World Science Festival and is produced in partnership with the DEC and the Lamont–Doherty Earth Observatory. Check out the Great Fish Count sites here.
