Special Grants Announcement: Consolidated Funding Application Now Open
Applications are now being accepted through the Consolidated Funding Application (CFA) until 4:00 PM on July 26, 2019. The Division of Water has three grant programs available in the CFA:
Water Quality Improvement Projects (WQIP)
WQIP funds implement projects to address documented water quality impairments or protect a drinking water source. Eligible project types include wastewater treatment improvement, non-agricultural nonpoint source abatement and control, land acquisition for source water protection, salt storage, aquatic connectivity restoration, and municipal separate storm sewer systems (MS4). Wastewater Infrastructure Engineering Planning Grant (EPG)
EPG funds production of an engineering report for eligible Clean Water State Revolving Fund water quality wastewater projects. For full program details and requirements, view the EPG Round 9 Program Overview (PDF). DEC offers this opportunity in partnership with the Environmental Facilities Corporation.
NEW! Non-Agricultural Nonpoint Source Planning Grant (NPG)

Workshops
Multiple workshops on these and other grant programs offered through the CFA are being held around the state. The first workshops are scheduled for May 6 in Watkins Glen, May 8 in Troy, and May 9 in Fredonia. |
