EPA Bans Consumer Sales of Methylene Chloride Paint Removers, Protecting Public

WASHINGTON — Today, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) issued a final rule to prohibit the manufacture (including import), processing, and distribution of methylene chloride in all paint removers for consumer use.
