One week left in the 2018 WAVE Sampling Season

Only one week left to collect your 2018 WAVE samples; the sampling season ends September 30. It’s a beautiful time of year to get out into NY’s streams!

You’ll have until November 1st to submit your voucher collections and data sheets. The simplest way to do so is to mail them to me (see address below) using the USPS packaging instructions for small volume flammable liquids (http://pe.usps.com/text/Pub52/pub52apxc_010.htm). If you prefer to drop these off at a NYSDEC regional office, please notify me in advance so that I can reach out to staff at that office and confirm that they can receive the samples.

I am emailing the sample results to the collectors as soon as I process them. Once I have processed all the samples, I will post these data to our online data map (http://on.ny.gov/1o9QScq).

Thank you for your contribution to WAVE!
